Alison has over 16 years
strategic marketing experience in telecoms and IT, as well as a number of years
strategic planning experience in financial markets support and in the public
sector. She has a degree in mathematics and IT, and post graduate qualifications
in Marketing, economics and accounting.

identifying, recommending and implementing new products, processes and
structures to maximise business potential and effectiveness:
She has considerable
experience in training marketing staff to understand and work with various
technologies and within project management environments.
Much of Alison’s experience
is within the start up or early growth phases of companies. She has recruited
three significant teams from scratch in such environments, creating fully
operational functions within weeks, and launching new products within 4 months.
This has necessitated a flexible approach and a real willingness to “get her
hands dirty” carrying out the basics as well as working with senior management
on direction setting. She has held positions including Director of New Product
Development and Director of Product Marketing.
She has experience of stock exchange launches and of carrying out due diligence for acquisitions, with particular regard to the marketing and product capabilities of the target, and the market/product match between the target and acquiring company.
