Carl’s area of expertise is in visual communication for major corporates and emerging companies in the IT, financial, professional services, automotive and healthcare sectors.

Carl has eight years experience in graphic design and marketing support, including business-to-business design and media, retail branding and retail display. He worked as account director of Kokoro Design, the design consultancy division of a large European design, marketing and PR group. Before this he was an account manager in the Carter Design Group, a top 10 retail display agency, design led manufacturer of point of sale retail environments and exhibitions. 

Carl manages the graphic design and marketing support process to meet a client’s specific requirement. His expertise lies in design and production management allowing him to understand & interpret a client's requirement, select and brief creative partners, manage and deliver creative projects. The key elements of this are in client liaison, relationship building, creative thinking, budget and schedule management. He delivers the design elements by working with a virtual team of creative marketing colleagues with wide ranging expertise in creative disciplines and industry sectors.

His achievements include account direction and total management on a number of high profile business to business accounts at strategic, creative and production levels. Before this he was also responsible for the management of a retail projects team, with a major high street retailer and involved in the development of new accounts for healthcare, cosmetic and photographic brands.

Carl is able to combine strategic and creative thinking with a real passion for design and photography to act as the 'creative link' between clients, design colleagues and marketing professionals. Carl is very response driven in his approach to design / marketing and is conditioned to look at a product or service from the customer point of view. He creates marketing materials which will raise brand awareness, but also support sales activity, encourage client interaction and ‘make the phone ring’. This tactical approach is very effective when a client is aiming to position their product or service in the marketplace and establish their brand. He tends to work with organisations who need to improve sales, positioning or visibility and particularly enjoys working with young, energetic and emerging companies.
