Situation
Two policy areas within a government department lacked communications expertise to lead on the full range of marketing communication activities to raise awareness, understanding and support of key new policy initiatives.
Brief
Develop and deliver comprehensive communications strategies for multiple new initiatives developed to help improve the health of the nation.
Solution
Working with senior policy staff communications plans were developed and delivered for a number of different and important health improvement activities.
The elements of marketing communication delivered included:
–Communications planning
Development of collateral
Creation of web content
Preparation of ministerial briefings and speeches
–Co-ordination of national and regional press releases and media events–
Facilitation of ministerial visits for launches of initiatives
Production of presentations for senior civil servants
