telecoms industry. Sandra has a MBA, Diploma in Marketing and 14 years marketing
experience in blue chip companies including Orange, GEC Plessey
Telecommunications and Global TeleSystems
Her last two roles were as Director of Marketing and Sales Support at Teleglobe UK, where she developed and delivered a UK marketing plan, building brand awareness through a programme of exhibitions and events, PR and customer communications, to enable sales success in a new market area, and Director of Products and Services at 186k, where she built a marketing and product development function from start-up to successful delivery of a quality product set at company launch.

start-up - at 186k Sandra developed a marketing function from scratch, designing and implementing processes, developing and
launching products and planning and delivering a comprehensive programme of
marketing activities.
Company
growth - when Sandra joined Esprit Telecom they had few products, but
several unsupported, customer-specific work-arounds. Sandra led the
development and launch of a portfolio of managed products with repeatable
solutions, capable of serving a larger customer base, whilst maintaining customer
focus. This moved the company up the value-chain and significantly increased
profit margins.
Company
refocus - at GPT Sandra led a managed withdrawal from a market sector,
ensuring that full support was in place and managing customer communication
to minimise dissatisfaction.
New
market and products - for GTS and Orange Sandra has been responsible for analysing a proposed new market area, developing the business case, researching the market and
carrying out financial analysis. Then
leading development of the products and processes, training and preparing
the organisation to be able to sell and support the products successfully,
developing pricing, collateral and sales materials and managing the launch
of the products.
